First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at The Moth.
Project Coordinator
The interview process was really laid-back and the interviewers were nice. They asked questions in a conversational way, mostly checking my knowledge about storytelling and what skills I could bring to the role, along with some standard behavioral questions.
- What is your interest in The Moth?
- Which of our programs or initiatives are you most enthusiastic about contributing to?
Manager
The interview process was thorough and included several members of the leadership team. I had to prepare and present a deck in advance. Some of the questions were challenging, but they were fair. I felt good about the interview and ended up getting the job.
- Can you tell me about your management style?
Assistant Producer
I went through three rounds of interviews with different members of various leadership roles. I really enjoyed speaking with the staff and had an enjoyable interview process. Unfortunately, I was not offered the job, but look forward to applying again in the future.
- As we are a storytelling platform, can you tell us a story about your work experience?
