I had 2 remote video interviews with separate employees, focusing on remote work and underwriting experience. A 3rd interview was scheduled for week 3 but got canceled. They then called to say they wanted to move forward. A few days later, they asked for my salary expectations, and after I provided them, they offered more, which I accepted. A few days passed, and in week 5, they requested references. By week 6, they informed me the position was no longer remote, which was not what I interviewed for, so I declined. A week later, they re-offered the remote position, and I accepted. However, a few days after that, they stated they couldn't offer the remote position because they had offered too much money. This whole process was incredibly disorganized and frustrating, with lack of communication between departments and HR making unapproved offers.

I really wanted to work for The Money Source because of their great reviews and mission. The interview process was really thorough. First, Kim called me for an initial phone interview, which was fun. She then emailed me an assessment that took about 30 minutes. After that, I met with Kim and Hunter, the Regional Business Development Manager. Hunter told me about the company and their mission, and was very open and fun to talk to. Then I took a personality test to see which department would be the best fit for me. My final phone interview was with my direct supervisor, who was really friendly and we just had a get-to-know-you kind of chat.

The interview process started with an initial screen call. Then, there was a timed online assessment sent via a web link. After that, I had a second phone interview. This was followed by two more timed, web-based assessments and an IQ test. The longest of these was a knowledge-based assessment that took about 2 hours. Another assessment focused on following instructions and completing tasks, and tested my ability to use software common in the industry. The process concluded with a final phone interview.

I had a phone call with Jacob and answered some questions. Then, I immediately had an in-person interview after completing a 45-minute test and providing three references. The interview itself was straightforward with questions. I was a little surprised by a grammar test, but it was fine. After the interview, they said I'd get a call with their decision. I never got the call and left several messages about it for about a month after the interview. It's okay that I didn't get the job, but at least they could have acknowledged it with a courtesy call after seeing my messages. I spent time on tests, phone and in-person interviews, and time off from my job. A phone call would have been appreciated. I found it very unprofessional of this company. At this point, it was a complete waste of my time and I wouldn't recommend this company because I can only imagine what else they don't follow up on or communicate. I can see why there's constant turnover here. I'll stick with the best, Bank of America.
