Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at The MIL Corporation.
Business Analyst
It was just one round for the interview, and I got to ask them some questions at the end. They asked me questions that were pretty straightforward, and it seemed like they were mostly trying to see if I'd be a good fit for the job. The whole thing was online.
- Tell me why you're interested in working for MIL.
Systems Analyst
I had a phone interview first, and then they told me I would have an in-person interview. The in-person interview with the manager was nice, and I felt like we had a good talk. I also spoke with the VP. I was really bummed out that I didn't hear anything back after two months. I tried to reach out to the new recruiter twice, but I never heard back from them. It was a good experience overall, but the communication afterward was disappointing.
- Could you tell me a little about yourself?
Business Analyst
The first interview was a casual call with the hiring manager, who seemed unprepared and hadn't reviewed my resume. Then, I had an onsite interview with two managers. They were prepared but couldn't answer basic questions about salary and benefits.
- What would you do if your manager asked you to do something you believe would harm the company?
