Account Manager
We had a few rounds. First was a chat about my background. Second, I had to prep a presentation to show them. The last one was with the CEO.
- Tell me about your experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- How do you approach managing multiple clients at the same time?
Account Manager
First, I had a phone screening with the hiring manager. Then, I was given an assignment which I had to present in the second interview. I ended up working the entire weekend on the assignment and practiced my presentation the day before the interview. After the second interview, I never heard back, even after following up. I eventually got an automated 'thanks for applying' email. It felt really disrespectful, especially considering the time I put into it, not to even get a response from the hiring manager. The reviews from former employees are awful, and now it all makes sense.
- Can you share an instance where you encountered a client who was dissatisfied with your presentation?
Account Manager
This hiring process took about two months. They said they were really excited about me and thought I was a perfect fit. I had to chase them for a decision. After a two-month process that included a task I apparently did great on, I wasn't hired.
- Can you share an example of how you managed a challenging client relationship?
