Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at The MCS Group.
Hospitality Clerk
The interview experience was quite entertaining. The interviewer and I found we had a lot in common. They focused on my experience and the details of the position I'm applying for. They stressed that MCS not only provides a great service but also a personal touch, ensuring clients understand they are there to exceed expectations.
- What's the hardest question for you, which is how would you handle an unsatisfied client? Being in office service, there will be some clients that are hard to please in the sense that even though what you think is right may not be their right.
Contract Developer
Had an initial phone call where we discussed my CV, and then a face-to-face meeting. They didn't ask many technical questions, but general chats about the subject were quite revealing. Mostly, they wanted to know about my career path and my communication skills.
- Could you elaborate on a particular position mentioned in your CV?
Mail/Copy Center Operator
The interview process was pretty standard. The interviewer was very thorough and gave a clear picture of how the company operates, its structure, and a bit of its history. They asked about my current salary and seemed surprised by the amount.
- Can you explain how you would present the financial justification for a scanning project to a lawyer, considering both the initial scanning expenses and the ongoing storage costs?
