First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at The Many.
Post Supervisor
I went through four interviews in total. One of them was a Zoom call where the Creative Director was in his car. I also spoke with the HR person, a producer, the Creative Director, and the head of creative. The whole process took about 4 to 6 weeks.
- Could you tell me about your background?
Project Manager
I talked to the recruiter, the hiring manager, and three team members. In total there were five 30-minute interviews. Everything went well, and the recruiter was super responsive up until the last interview. I tried to follow up a few times but got no response, and after two weeks, I figured I was ghosted. It was pretty unprofessional given how much time and effort I put into each interview, especially for a company that says they care about people. I'm really bummed because it seemed like a great company and I was looking forward to discussing an offer or at least hearing about what's next.
- Can you tell me why you chose Project Management?
- Describe a difficult problem you had to resolve.
Strategy Director
Had 3 interviews, but never heard back. They were really unclear about the job, what they wanted, the pay, and perks. They seemed more concerned about being in the office than what I brought to the table skills-wise.
- What impact do you believe you can make in this role?
Associate Media Director
The team was thoughtful, intuitive, and collaborative. They made sure to get collective feedback from everyone who interviewed me and gave me insights into how I could do well in the role.
- Can you describe a challenging situation from your past experience, detailing the outcome and what you learned from it?
