I started with a phone screening with who I think was the internal recruiter, and it went pretty well. They asked me some questions and it seemed like I might be a good fit. Then I went in for an interview with the owner. He seemed really nice, even smiling at my answers to the questions I messed up on. I was totally thrown off because most of the tech questions were about Mac stuff, and I haven't done much with Macs at my previous job, so I was pretty rusty. My bad, I should've been ready for anything, but I figured they'd ask about Windows and networking, which they didn't really. He also asked about Jamf, and what I used it for, and I totally bombed that because I'd only used it in a home test environment (my last company didn't have it). It was one of those interviews where I really doubted myself. Maybe my tech skills aren't as good as some people say, or maybe it was just a really tough interview. I'll own this one though, and I'm definitely going to learn more about Mac stuff and Jamf because it's super important. That said, I don't want to go into a job knowing everything; I want to learn and grow, which is how I got here. Experience teaches you, and this will help me grow. It was a great and engaging interview process. There were multiple interview rounds, including a discussion about my background, a technical assessment, and questions about my personality and views. The interviewers were very welcoming and friendly, yet professional. It seems like they are really focused on hiring top talent, both in terms of personality and technical skills. Even though I didn't get the job after 4 interviews, they sent a personal message, which was a nice touch compared to an automated rejection. I never felt like they were trying to trick me with questions. Some of the questions were really interesting and unique, aiming to find someone who aligns with their vision. I'm disappointed about not getting an offer, but I was really impressed with the whole process and found it to be a valuable learning experience.

I sent a letter about myself and my work, then got an email asking for my resume. After a few weeks, I got an email to set up a phone interview. The phone interview had 5-6 questions to see if my personality was a good fit. Within about two weeks, I got a call, but I missed it because I was out of the country. Peter, the CEO, left a voicemail saying he was thankful I applied but that I wasn't a fit for the company. He seemed really genuine, and it's pretty amazing that the CEO would reach out.

First, they sent me an email asking about my favorite hobby and my dream job. After they liked my response, HR got in touch. The HR person asked me a bunch of behavioral questions to see if I'd be a good fit for the company.
