The interview process went well. Just make sure you show you want to learn and can sell yourself, and they'll probably hire you right away. Give them a reason to think 'wow, where has this person been?' after you leave.

Super fast hiring! They hired me on the spot. First, I chatted with one Sales Manager, then another Sales Manager. After that, I met with the Corporate Trainer. If he was around, the General Manager would see me too. Once all those meetings were done, I had to do a drug test and a background check.

Behavioral Other

I interviewed with one person, which is unusual since most interviews have 3 people (internet manager, senior sales consultant, and sales manager or GM). We talked at a table on the sales floor since it was slow. My interviewer was nice and asked questions that let me talk about my skills. It was very positive. I didn't get offers from previous dealerships because I had no car sales experience, but LHM hired me immediately because of my customer service and other sales experience. They give people with no auto experience more chances. Later, I sometimes sat in on interviews. Management cared most about the candidate's emotional intelligence (talking too much, eye contact) and if they seemed excited about the job. If you show you're serious about giving it your all, it's not hard to pass. Dress nicely; one person wasn't considered because she wore jeans and flip flops. Arrive 10 minutes early. They'll notice your car, which can be a talking point – think about how you'd sell it.

I was contacted and then invited in for an interview for the Utah Jazz. The interview was quick, to the point, and very efficient. The interviewer was very friendly and it wasn't a stressful experience. We sat in a conference room and the whole thing lasted about half an hour. We were able to talk freely, and it felt comfortable.
