It's a pretty long process! Everyone was really nice and happy to answer any questions. You'll chat about 4 times before you wrap it up. It's mostly casual chats but with some more formal questions mixed in, depending on who you're talking to.

I applied online and got a call from HR. HR interviewed me on the phone and asked that I send examples of my work that day. I was working on another project that day so I asked if I could send them the next day. I was told if I did not send them that day I could not be considered for the job. I sent examples that day and never heard from them again despite numerous emails and calls. Very unprofessional and a waste of time.

It started with an HR phone interview, then a manager phone interview, followed by an in-person interview with three managers, and finally a timed test. The timed test was rough; the manager was late, then gave me unlimited time, but then rushed me out. It felt like a bad way to assess my skills, not enough time, and on a different program version than I usually use. I wish I'd had more time and that they'd looked at my portfolio or considered a contract-to-hire. HR didn't even email me back after, I had to reach out.

The interview process included standard questions with the department manager and a practical test where I had to make edits and corrections on a DIRECTV direct mailer using InDesign. They also asked about the programs I use and my past work experience. There was only one round of interviews.
