First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at The Josselyn Center.
Medical Records Specialist
I had a chat with HR over the phone, and then I had two more interviews with the hiring managers. One was online using Teams, and the second one was in person where I met some other team members.
- What inspires you to work for a mental health provider?
Intern
After applying for the internship, it's important to follow up with the coordinator because they get a lot of applicants. Following up via email and showing your interest is the key to getting an interview. Once you have the interview date, make sure you are prompt and ready to sell your skills.
- Why are you interested in interning at the Josselyn Center?
Clinical Data Entry Specialist
The first interview was on Zoom with HR and someone from the team. It was pretty chill. The second and last interview was in person with the director and the same person from the first interview.
- What about Josselyn appeals to you?
- Which office supply would you identify as?
Administrative Assistant
I had an interview that was once by zoom and then in person with the HR rep and the person I would have worked for. The office was a bit hard to find and nobody was there when I arrived. The name cards at the reception desk had a different address listed, which made me think I was in the wrong location. They were running a little behind, but someone from the office spoke with me until they got there.
- What are your approaches to handling different situations?
