So, my interview process was a bit unique I think. First, I had a HR screening call, then a Zoom with operations. After that, I met the CEO in person. Then, I had a couple of Zooms, one with BI and another with the CCO. Finally, I got an offer and the PD sent over email.

The interview process was really clear and I always knew what was coming next. It started with a phone interview and then moved to an in-person interview, which I think is a pretty good way to do things.

The communication was great. I went through three interviews, and the whole process took about two weeks. The first two interviews were shorter, around 25 minutes each, while the last one was a bit longer at about 40 minutes. I had my first interview over the phone, and the second and third were conducted over Zoom.

The hiring process spanned over a month and consisted of three interviews. It kicked off with a screening call with HR, followed by a Zoom interview with the Director of Operations and the CFO within the first week. Both initial interviews were quite positive and engaging. The final interview was scheduled with CEO Michael Jeffcoat for three weeks later. Upon my arrival, anticipating the final stage, Michael mentioned he was having a bad day and wasn't very engaged, having been awake since 4 am. The interview then became a situation where I had to lead the conversation as Michael seemed disengaged. It concluded in under 30 minutes. I left feeling confused and disappointed because Michael, as he admitted, hadn't reviewed my resume or known anything about me beforehand. It would have been better if he had rescheduled for a time he was more prepared and engaged. Interestingly, three other people from different roles at the firm viewed my LinkedIn profile, which was a bit confusing given I was applying for this role. Overall, the interview process felt poorly managed, dragged on unnecessarily, and didn't show much respect for my time, skills, or experience. About a week after the third interview, I had to follow up to learn that I hadn't been selected for the position. For a law firm aiming for growth, I would expect more efficient and respectful hiring procedures.
