The interview process involved three stages. First, there was a recruiter call where they discussed basic job details and my familiarity with the role. Second, I had an online interview with the main hiring manager, who in my case was the professor. They asked about the experiments I've done, like PCR, Western Blot, and Cell Culture. The third round was an in-person interview with all the lab members and other professors.

I was first contacted for a phone interview, and then later they called me back to set up an in-person interview at the lab. The in-person interview included mini-interviews with different supervisors, I had to give a talk about my research experience, and then I had a long interview with the primary investigator. The in-person part was a whole day.

I applied online, and a few weeks later they called me back. They asked me some general hr questions, like my strengths, and about my previous experiences. They also asked if working with mice would be an issue for me, and what skills I had. They said they'd let me know soon.
