For a non-entry level Marketing role at Smucker’s, the interview process is primarily focused on assessing your cultural fit. It’s important to research your interviewers online. If they are new to Smucker’s, they’ll likely inquire about your skills and accomplishments. If they’ve been with the company for a while, they’re more interested in how you fit into the existing culture. At Smucker’s, this means emphasizing collective achievements ('we') rather than individual successes ('I'), as arrogance is quickly identified and frowned upon. This cultural aspect can be both beneficial and challenging. There's a strong emphasis on conformity, which can sometimes overshadow the introduction of new ideas.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process involved several rounds. It started with a recruiter call, followed by a technical screen, and then an onsite interview. There were two interviewers during the onsite. They asked a lot of behavioral and work experience questions, focusing on marketing skills. They wanted to know if I had experience in the CPPG industry and why I applied if my major wasn't directly related. They also asked about my understanding of what a senior marketing manager does and if I knew the brands they own.
