First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at The Indian Hotels.
Marketing Coordinator
There were several rounds where they asked the same questions. First, I met with HR, then the GM, and finally the marketing head. They all asked the exact same questions. The waiting time was also challenging, with at least a 45-minute wait between each interview round.
- Can you discuss your career path and future goals?
Management Trainee
The hiring process was quite long. It had 5 rounds in total. One round was a group discussion (GD), and the others were interviews. There wasn't a clear way to know how interested they were in me since there was no objective scoring, which made it a bit tricky. I got through all the rounds until the very last one, which was an interview with a senior panel.
- What compliances do you know about?
- Tell me about industrial relations.
- What are the important policies?
Intern
I applied online and got a call from the HR coordinator the same day. We had a quick chat, and then I interviewed with the Assistant HR Director for about 30 minutes. After that, I interviewed with the Director of Learning and Development, who would be my manager. The next morning, the HR Coordinator called and asked me to come in for a drug test that same day. Once I arrived for the test, I was offered the position, pending the drug test results.
- Can you share an instance where you encountered a conflict with a coworker and how you handled it?
Materials Manager
The interview process started with a resume screening. Then, there were two group discussions (GD) on abstract topics or current affairs. Following that, a panel of three people (two HRs and the Material Manager) conducted an interview. Finally, selected candidates had a Skype interview with the Materials Director.
- Can you give a brief introduction about yourself?
- Could you tell us about your family background?
- What do you like and dislike?
