I had a call with a recruiter, and it turned out they weren't as technical as I expected for a Data Analyst role. They asked me about my writing experience, which I found surprising.

I submitted my resume on the app portal, and the next day, someone emailed me and reached out to schedule a phone interview the week after. It went well enough, and I was informed that I had advanced to the second stage of the interview, which was the writing test. I worked hard on it and sent it back within the hour, and it was acknowledged. However, I checked in after more than once after I submitted the test, and they didn't even bother responding. I found this to be very rude and unprofessional, especially because I put in the time and effort of doing a writing test and preparing for the initial phone interview.

So I had this screening interview first, then a 2.5 hour test. After that, I went into the office for what turned out to be two interview rounds. The first round felt like being ignored from the moment I walked in, with staff seeming annoyed by my presence and the whole place being a mess. Then, I met with 8 people in about 2 hours, with each meeting lasting 20-30 minutes. The conversations felt rushed and not very deep. The last pair I met with seemed disinterested, with one interviewer mentioning they were just trying to get home. After all that, I never heard back from them.

It was a single online interview with the co-founder. The co-founder was very professional and listened well. The most important thing is to be fluent in English and, of course, competent in your field.
