Disclaimer: this interview was conducted for the Rome location. I'm unsure if the same method or characteristics apply to other branches of the group. It was an informal chat with the HR manager of the location. They asked about my experience, how I would manage certain situations, and my expectations for the role. Overall, it was a good experience.

It was a really good and engaging interview. They made me feel comfortable and like they really care about their people and customers. The place felt fun, cool, and relaxed, and the customers and other servers seemed happy. Everyone working there was nice, and I liked the design. I'd be happy to bring my friends here.

I interviewed with Ms. Julie Bruley, the hotel director, and a gentleman whose name I don't recall. All I can say about her is that she was 'Arrogant'. She made me very uncomfortable... she suspected I had put false information on my CV and started asking questions like: Who was the director of the hotel where you worked, the assistant director, the hotel's address... etc.

I applied for a position at The Hoxton via LinkedIn. About a week after applying, I was contacted to schedule a phone interview. However, the recruiter never called me at the scheduled time. They then sent an email claiming my cellphone couldn't receive calls, but I was waiting and my phone never rang. They rescheduled the interview for another date and confirmed it, but again, no call was made. Ever since then, they've been unresponsive. I can't recommend them due to this unprofessional conduct.
