Assistant Manager
Recruiter reached out via Indeed.com. After confirming interest, I was sent a link to fill out an application. Following the application submission, another HR person contacted me to schedule an interview. This initial process took about two days. The interview itself was brief, lasting around 15 minutes. It started with casual conversation about my background. Then, a few questions were asked, and I was informed my application would be forwarded to the general manager. I was told the entire process might take about 4 business days, and I should follow up if I didn't hear back. Since the interview was only two days ago, I'm not sure about the next steps.
- Can you explain what hospitality means to you?
- Could you list the systems you are proficient in?
- What is your availability like?
Purchasing Assistant
The entire interview process took about three weeks or more. I had a total of four interviews before I was hired. The first was with HR, then I interviewed with the department manager. They told me they didn't have a full-time position available. A week later, they called me back for another interview with the department manager. My final interview was with the General Manager.
- We mostly discussed Houston traffic.
- She then asked me random questions from a sheet of paper.
Licensed Massage Therapist
Started with a zoom call with HR. Then the spa managers had me come in for an in person interview. It was a normal conversation, with one interview-like question about my 3 year goal. After that interview I was invited back to do a hands on 100 min massage interview. They normally have interviewees do a 50 min then invite them back for a 100 min, but they skipped this for now because of covid. They did offer me the position after the hands on.
- Where do you see yourself in 3 years?
Purchasing Clerk
You'll start with HR to see if you vibe with the company culture and to learn about how they operate and their values. After that, you'll chat with a department manager. There might be another interview with a different department manager too, just to get a better sense of you and where you might fit best depending on your background and what they need.
- Is this a long-term career move for you?
