I had an interview where they gave me a list of questions to jot down notes on first. Then, I went into the interview room to discuss those same questions more thoroughly. The questions were pretty direct and open-ended.

Behavioral Technical

The hiring process was not neurodivergent-friendly. It started with an online application, followed by an in-person interview. I was told I'd get a call about the outcome, but instead, I received a generic email a week after the latest expected date. No feedback was given.

Behavioral Technical

It was a really casual video chat. The staff were helpful and gave good info. Make sure you've done your homework on the department! You need to be able to talk about your hard and soft skills and how they'd fit. Picture yourself in the role and think about how you'd manage different scenarios. Look up the service values and be ready to explain how you'd work according to them.

Confirmed questions6 questions
  • In terms of handling inquiries, what's your approach?
  • How do you feel about doing repetitive, everyday tasks?
  • Could you describe your proficiency with the Office suite and other business software?

The interview was held online using Microsoft Teams and lasted about 45-50 minutes. The interviewers used complex technical terms a lot, even when asking questions. I think there was a set plan for the interview, but it didn't really stick to it, and they ended up asking mostly about my personal life rather than my skills and experience.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • What would you do to enhance the organization's cybersecurity and how would you implement it?
  • Propose a cybersecurity improvement that differs from our current measures and explain its effectiveness.
