It was a nice and pleasant experience. I had 3 interviews in total. The first one was with HR, the second was with both HR and the Line manager, and the last one involved presenting a case to the entire team and the marketing director. I was given a marketing case to solve, which turned out to be not difficult at all and quite entertaining.

I got a call from HR about a Brand Manager position I'd applied for ages ago. First up was a chat with HR, just going over my CV and personality - pretty chill as she was young. Then I met with two group brand managers. This was important 'cause it helped decide my next interview stage and also which brand I'd manage. It felt more like catching up with colleagues, though they were definitely assessing my experience. The last interview was with the marketing director. She was tough, asking direct questions about my past. Right at the end, she hit me with a surprise case study and only five minutes to plan how to double sales for another company. Talk about a shock!

It was easy. I spoke with HR and the MD. That was it. The HR call was very weak, mostly regular questions and a quick check of my English level. The MD was very inspirational and mostly asked about my personality, what I like, and how I see my future with the company and what I like about brands. All math and logical tests are only for top performers and are conducted annually, but nothing during screening.
