Had a phone interview for like twenty minutes where we talked about me as a candidate. Then, there was a zoom interview that was longer and more personal. The people were really nice and professional! I'd suggest interviewing here. You should definitely be ready to talk more about the job and make sure you've done your homework!

A head hunter recommended me for the role since my skills were a good match and I've done this for over 15 years. I had to pick a date and time for a multi-step interview. I was on time for the Teams video call, but one interviewer was late and made me wait until they could get another person. My laptop camera wasn't working, so I used my phone. Neither interviewer turned on their camera. They said this was a technical screen and asked me about VB6, C#, SQL, and EDI. The questions were easy given my background, and I only elaborated when asked. One question was unclear, and I admitted I didn't know, and they provided the answer. This job is remote. One interviewer asked where I'm from, and I said near Birmingham, AL, guessing my accent made it obvious. They chuckled and said that's why they asked, to know the time zone, which I also provided. I felt good about it because I answered quickly and concisely, even asking if I provided enough detail. I couldn't read their reactions. The head hunter called the next day saying they thought I wasn't technical enough, which I found strange.

I sent in my application and resume online, faxed it to HR, and then emailed it to the HR manager. It was pretty much a requirement back then to know someone at the company to even get an interview, and I did know some people in the pharmacy department. The interview itself was with three people at once: the HR manager, the director of the claims department, and the claims department manager. It was a bit intimidating at first. After the interview, they took me on a tour of the building and showed me around the claims department.

The interview was a panel with 4 people, and everyone was really nice. The whole thing took about 45 minutes. They asked a lot of questions to figure out what kind of person you are, not just about your technical skills, though they did ask about those too.
