I applied online and then had a phone interview. After that, I was invited to the office to meet with three people in person. Everyone was super friendly and seemed really passionate about their jobs! It felt like a relaxed place to work, but everyone was still focused on growing the company. It was a great interview experience overall, and they made me feel comfortable. It seemed like a really welcoming team, and I would have loved to work there. The people were fantastic, work-life balance seemed good, and everyone respected each other's opinions. It felt like a close-knit family. I didn't take the offer because I got another job in a location and industry that suited me better. But it really seemed like a great place to be!

I applied on their careers page and heard back about two weeks later to schedule a call. I had a quick chat with the hiring manager about my experience, career goals, and interest in the company. It felt good, and I wanted to learn more. After sending a thank you email, the manager followed up a week later to schedule an in-person meeting. The email included a small, manageable assignment. Rescheduling was a bit tricky, but they were accommodating. When I went in, I met with three people. The office environment was unique, with shipping crates for cubicles and products everywhere. It was clear everyone loved their jobs and was really into them, dressed casually in jeans and plaid. The hiring manager seemed like someone I'd really want to work for, emphasizing career growth over just having a job. I was even more eager for the position after meeting the team. I sent another thank you after the onsite interviews. A week passed with no word, and then two weeks after the interview, I got a short message saying they'd chosen someone else. I was really bummed to get my hopes up and then be rejected, though they were polite about it. Despite this, I'd still work there and would apply again if a suitable role opens up.

I applied for the Designer role online. After a month, I got a call from HR for a phone screening. It was a 20-minute call, and then she set up an in-person interview with the hiring manager and five other people. The in-person part went on for over three hours. They said they'd be in touch, but then there was silence for almost two months. My main issue with the whole thing was the lack of communication, transparency, and them stringing me along. It seems like a cool company, but they could really improve how they communicate and their honesty with potential employees.

The first step was a phone screen with the recruiter which went well and she was helpful explaining company culture. She was responsive and the process moves quickly. Next, I interviewed with the hiring manager who wanted to clarify the role and ask questions. He said "you've read the job description" and waited for me to ask him questions. The interview was me walking him through my resume, starting from the beginning and barely covering relevant experience. He only left three minutes for my questions. They seem data and money focused, so PMs with high customer empathy might want to look elsewhere.
