First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at The Goat.
Campaign Coordinator
I applied on LinkedIn and they got back to me really fast for a first interview. It was pretty chill, only about 20 minutes, and the interviewer gave me good feedback. But then, I just got ghosted. Reading Glassdoor reviews makes me think I avoided a bad situation.
- Can you describe your experience with managing influencer campaigns for clients?
Barback
It was a relaxed and casual chat, really. They were more interested in my personality and how trainable I seemed rather than my actual resume. They decided to hire me right then and there, and my availability was a big factor. It all happened with the current staff, so it wasn't like a formal one-on-one interview.
- Can you tell me about your experience?
Bartender
The managers were supposed to be available but they weren't during the scheduled time. The only person available was professional, but they didn't follow through on their promise to call me back.
- What's your availability?
- Tell me about yourself.
- Can you tell me about your experience?
Barista
The interview process was really fast and straightforward. I chatted with the General Manager, and we got to know each other. It was pretty much like other restaurant interviews I've done. We talked about my strengths and weaknesses, my previous work history, and what I'm seeking in a job.
- What do you consider your strengths to be?
- What are your perceived weaknesses?
- Can you tell me about your previous experience?
