First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at The Friedkin Group.
Finance Intern
It was a two stage interview where I met with two members of the team. They asked me some questions about my skills and who I am as a professional.
- Can you list 5 of your weaknesses?
Performance Development Manager
I applied and got contacted within 2 weeks. First, a Talent Acquisition person did a pre-screen phone interview. The next day, they called to set up an in-person interview with 2 department managers. That was the following week. After that, I was contacted by 5 more district managers I'd be working with over the next week or two. The offer came about a week after finishing those calls. The whole thing from first contact to offer took about 4 weeks, which was nice considering it was around the holidays. I really enjoyed the process.
- What made you choose Friedkin Group?
Business Systems Analyst
The job description for this Business Analyst role didn't quite match the skills they were actually looking for. Even though it was a Business Analyst position, the first phone screen involved questions about Java Patterns. They also asked a question more relevant to the role, which was about SQL statements and specifically testing knowledge of the GROUP BY command. The second interview was set for 3 days later and covered topics more related to Business Analysis and Data Warehousing.
- Can you explain the Java Patterns that would be used to address a problem involving playing cards?
Mechanical Engineer
I applied through career fair at university and was then given an interview time. Before the interview, I got an email asking me to reapply and send my resume and cover letter. They said they would update me on the position by November 15th, but I had to chase them myself to find out the status.
- Can you share an instance where you resolved a disagreement among colleagues?
