The interview process was very smooth. Management conducts the interviews and they are very professional. They explain exactly what they expect from you. How you dress for the interview matters! Be sharp and ready for a lot of questions.

The interview process was fast, taking only 2 weeks for 2 interviews. However, the process turned unpleasant after that. They indicated I was hired, but then subjected me to a very intrusive background check. This check was more thorough than standard ones, which I think is a good thing for companies to do. They also reviewed my credit report and score. You're not allowed to refuse this check. It felt offensive; why does the company need to know about my past financial situation? A urine test was also required. It felt like they were checking everything short of interviewing my mother. Based on other reviews from people who worked there, I now see it as fortunate that I didn't get the job. No one should have to endure being yelled at by their boss. If you're going to yell at everyone, get a bad reputation, and be overly critical and arrogant about it, maybe it's time to retire. Avoid this place. Your time would be better spent applying for a job at McDonald's.

Applied one day, got called for an interview the next. Then met with the manager for a one on one interview. It was a bit cold at first, but she warmed up. I liked her and we got along and understood each other. I was told I was the top candidate and needed to meet the VP. The following week, I met with the VP who kept asking if I was interested and what I thought, saying they needed someone like me. I followed up after two days and was told corporate was still interviewing to ensure they get the best candidates. It makes me wonder why a company would risk losing a qualified candidate over unprofessionalism, especially when they have a property manager.

The interview was one on one with the interior designer. She said the candidate she chose would most likely have a second interview with Mr. Finger himself. She mentioned the work environment and asked if I could handle it. Unfortunately, Mr. Finger decided not to expand his interior design department and did not hire anyone at the time of my interview.
