The interview process was quite relaxed, conducted over Google Meet. I really enjoyed it. The hiring manager advanced me to the next interview, which was scheduled for the following day. They are seeking candidates with open availability, including weekends and holidays, which is totally understandable given the entertainment industry context. My background in entertainment makes this requirement completely sensible. It appears they are looking to fill the position immediately.

I applied online for a seasonal Game Guide position. After not hearing back for a week, I called to find out they had texted me for a phone interview but got the wrong number. They scheduled me for a phone interview which was very short, like 5 minutes, and they just asked why I wanted to work there. Then they set up an in-person interview. When I showed up, nobody was there. After calling again, I was told the manager was sick and I wasn't informed. They apologized and rescheduled me for the next day. The next morning, I had a 20-minute interview with the manager. They asked simple behavioral questions, similar to the phone interview, and showed me a 5-minute training video. Then they scheduled me with the regional manager. I didn't interact with other staff or get a tour. The regional manager cancelled our virtual interview 5 minutes before it started without notice. I contacted them again to reschedule. During the rescheduled interview, they asked pretty much the same questions as the site manager and then asked about my pay expectations, revealing it was minimum wage with no guaranteed hours. I received an offer but declined it after a day because of the overall experience and a bad impression of the work environment. They never responded after I declined.

I went through 3 interviews for this position. First, I had a zoom interview with an assistant manager, then an in-person interview at the store with the general manager, and finally, a zoom interview with the district manager. They mainly asked me questions about customer service.

I applied online and then had a quick 10 minute phone chat two days later. It was with someone from The Escape Game HQ in Nashville. They asked me to introduce myself, say why I wanted to work there, and tell them my availability. Just a few hours after that call, I got an email for an in-person interview the very next day at the actual location. That one took about 20 mins, and then they offered me the job and showed me around.
