Merchandise Planner
I will not speak of the company as a whole but the recruiting process and interview was extremely disorganized and the communication was extremely lacking. The recruiter cancelled the interview the time of the interview and then was very bad at communicating time changes throughout the day. They emailed apologizing and promising to prioritize my schedule the next day but the same thing occurred. And despite all the extra steps taken with assessments they do not get back to candidates and with how frustrating it was to get ahold of them it seems like a bulled dodged.

Paid Ads Manager
I had scheduled this interview a month prior and was given the Core Principles of the Emazing Group to review, and was told I'd be asked questions about this. I was excited and reviewed their website and brands carefully. Then, a month later, just 60 minutes before my interview, I was sent 4 separate Basic Skills tests to complete immediately (typing, clerical literacy - for a paid ad manager role?). I asked why I wasn’t sent this a month ago, and received no answer. When I joined the interview, the recruiter seemed distracted and uninterested. She did not ask me any questions about the Core Principles. She did tell me there would be five more rounds of interview, a take home assessment, a video introduction, and more skill tests - all for a salary significantly below market value. She could not provide any specific details about the role.

Festival Coordinator
I was really keen to find out more about this organization and the position I was interviewing for. But, I was really let down by how the first call went. They offered me the chance to continue with the interview process, which is good, but I turned it down because of these reasons: The interviewer's tone felt condescending and robotic. They couldn't give me any information about the duties or functions of the role. By the time they offered to move forward, I still didn't know what the organization or team was looking for in this position. When I asked about diversity and inclusion, the answer was unimpressive. These were the main reasons I didn't proceed. I hope the talent team can be more organized with interviews and screenings in the future.

Merchandise Coordinator
I applied online and got a phone interview pretty fast, like within two days. It was only 15 minutes and they asked about 7 questions. The interviewer noted things down and sent them to the department head, who then decides on in-person interviews. The person I spoke with on the phone didn't seem very excited, which was a bit of a downer since I was hoping for someone with more energy. I heard back in about 3 days with a standard rejection email.
