It was a short and selective process. Easy to pass, depending on who is interviewing. The company seems trustworthy and has good offers. The response time was a bit long, perhaps due to the demand for long interviews throughout the week.

Had two rounds of interviews. Got to the reference check stage but had to accept another offer. The second round was with the hiring manager and a team member. The culture and subject matter seemed like a great fit.

They seemed disinterested and condescending at times during the panel interview. I had to do a written assessment and later found out the author used some of my ideas in their own published work. Don't ask for free work during the interview process for personal gain.

I applied online through my school's career portal. It took about three weeks for them to respond. The first stage was a surprise phone screen; a manager called me during breakfast, needing to interview me immediately because she was leaving for vacation the next day. I took the call right then and there. She then set up an in-person interview for the following week. The in-person interview involved the phone manager, another manager from HR, and a woman who used to work at a nearby law firm. It was mainly a behavioral interview, but they did ask specific questions about my policy experience. The interview was quite long but everyone was nice, especially the HR manager. About a week later, I got an email saying I didn't get the job because they found someone with more experience. My request for feedback was ignored.
