The CEO did the initial screening. He didn't seem to know the specifics of the role and asked me for a salary range for a job that wasn't clearly defined. The job description was really basic and inconsistent, which was a bit of a red flag. Near the end, I asked if I'd hear back either way, and he said yes. A few weeks later, I got another email from the CEO for the *same* screening interview. He apparently forgot we'd already spoken and still couldn't answer my questions. He once again said they'd be in touch regardless of the outcome, and again, I never heard back.

It was a pretty straightforward interview with the hiring manager. They seemed most interested in my background and any specific experiences I had. We had a good chat, but unfortunately, I didn't hear back from them afterwards. I was really hoping to join this company and thought it would be a better experience, but it looks like the reviews on Glassdoor are pretty much in line with what I went through.

The team seemed nice but the communication was terrible. It was hard to tell if it was an organizational issue or just an overwhelmed hiring manager, as I was left wondering if I'd been ghosted multiple times during the process, only to receive a follow-up email weeks or even months later.

I went through two interviews. The first was with the COO, and the second was with someone from the team I would be joining. Both talks were pretty chill, but I learned more about the company during my chat with the COO than I did from the communications person.
