Overall a smooth and easy hiring process, spanning 3 rounds and taking a month to get to the offer. First, a recruiter call, then an interview with the General Manager, and finally a meet-and-greet with the team to ensure mutual fit.

Since I got a referral from someone already working at Dinex Group, the hiring process was straightforward. My resume was passed to HR by the employee. HR then gave me a call for a quick phone interview, which was mostly to schedule the main interview. When I got there for my interview, I had to fill out some paperwork and an application. Then, I had a short interview with an HR person and a Q&A session. The questions were pretty basic, as expected for this kind of job.

It was a cold and distant interview, which isn't surprising for the restaurant industry, but I expected more interest in my experience working in France, especially from a French restaurant group. They focused on how I deal with conflict rather than my menu planning skills, making me feel like I was being interviewed for a server role instead of management. I'm uncertain about fitting into a company that just seemed to want another person to carry food instead of valuing my contributions to the department.

The interview process was pretty easy. First, I met with the manager at the restaurant, and then I met with the GM. I got hired the very next day, which was pretty quick. It seems like this place might have a high turnover rate. The second interview focused more on training, scheduling, my availability, and what I should expect to make as far as pay.
