& Process

This interview process had 3 rounds, and each was 30 minutes. The last round was supposed to be with a senior manager and it was a really bad experience. They had to reschedule the final round on the day of the interview and then showed up almost 10 minutes late to the new time. On top of that, they kept their camera off the entire time and started off by saying they only had 20 minutes. The interviewer also didn't do a good job facilitating the case part of the interview, and it seemed like they were distracted the whole time. It's a bummer because the first two interview rounds were good, but the final round was handled in the worst way possible and reflects poorly on the management.

I had three interviews in total, each lasting 30 minutes. They were split between behavioral questions and market access topics. First, I talked to an associate, and then I spoke with a senior associate. The market access questions weren't too difficult.

The interview process started with a 30-minute recruiter call where we discussed my resume and why I'm interested in the firm. Then I had an interview with a consultant, which included 5 minutes of behavioral questions, 20 minutes for a case study, and 5 minutes for my questions. The last stage had 2 back-to-back interviews with an Engagement Manager and a Partner, following the same format: 5 minutes behavioral, 20 minutes case, and 5 minutes for questions. The cases involved brain teasers and business scenarios like pricing and market entry. The recruiter was really fast with scheduling, kept me updated, and quickly extended an offer. Excited to start!

This job market is tough. As a job seeker coming from a good college with good grades and achievements, I felt like I was interviewing the company just as much as they were interviewing me. So, when the interviewers were rude and asked intimidating questions like 'are you ready for extremely long hours?' early on, it was a big turn off. I get not hearing back after applying, but after doing three rounds of interviews and spending months prepping, especially for a small company, I expected to at least hear back. I didn't. I found out secondhand that the HR person I was dealing with had left and my emails were ignored. Then I got a text saying I didn't get the job. The whole process was unprofessional, with rude interviewers and intimidation tactics. Seriously think twice before applying or working here.
