It started with a phone screen with HR, then there were multiple rounds of interviews with the consortium staff and project managers on other consortia. All in all, it was 6 to 7 hours of active interview time, which felt like a lot.

I was interviewed by two people in their Gaithersburg office some time ago. The first person I met was great - smart and engaged. However, the second person was actually yawning during my interview. I know people can get tired, but yawning is pretty unprofessional. I left the interview feeling disappointed and unsure if I even wanted the job. The first interviewer ended up leaving the company. I heard the Gaithersburg office eventually closed, which I'm not shocked about given the quality of some of the staff there, like the second interviewer. The company itself, which is based in Tucson, seems like a good place to work though.
