Director of Customer Care
I applied online and then was sent supplemental questions to answer. After submitting the questions, there was some back and forth, and then nothing. I wish I would have read the reviews before even applying, I wouldn't have wasted my time. My experience was just as negative as most of the reviews and I agree their process was the worst I have EVER experienced. This was expected since the minimal contact I had with them, they were rude, condescending, unresponsive and arrogant. As recruiting common courtesy, otherwise know as recruiting 101, they should have sent me an email stating they decided not to move forward with my application as opposed to leaving me in limbo. You can tell a lot about an organization's culture by their hiring process and how they treat people that aren't a part of the organization. The C-levels should rethink the recruiting department's process and demeanor when dealing with candidates, otherwise they'll miss out on really great talent. The culture you depict on your Instagram, LinkedIn, and company website should extend to the recruiting process.
- Can you describe your experience handling customer complaints and challenges?
- Could you provide examples of the types of customer issues you've managed?

Search Engine Optimization Expert
I applied online and the Director of Recruiting sent me some questions via email, then I had a phone screen. Later that day, they invited me for an onsite interview with a panel of 4 people. It took about 1 month. The recruiter was professional and asked relevant questions, but the rest of the interview was a waste of time with agency-like people asking irrelevant and wacky questions. They weren't upfront that they are an in-house product marketing company. I didn't get an offer because I focused on job details and not their silly questions, and I wouldn't have accepted anyway because I didn't like the people.
- What is your spirit animal?
- Imagine running into the office through a paper banner each morning; what would it say and what song would play?
- What is your answer to a complex question involving clocks, which you need to draw out on a whiteboard?
Front End Engineer
The interview process was nice and really fast. It took only 1 week starting from the screening interview until getting the results. First, there was a screening interview with HR (30-45 mins call). Then, a code assignment which has to be submitted back in 3 days. The task was to create a React app compiled with Webpack using one of the well known public APIs. After that, a panel interview with a front-end team lead and a staff software engineer. (1hour Zoom call during the pandemic). Finally, a phone call from HR with the results of your interview. (I got mine in 2 business days after the panel).
- What steps would you take to debug a slow React application?
Scrum Master
It was a long and kinda unprofessional interview process. Started with a recruiter phone screen, then had two separate 1-hour onsite interviews a couple weeks apart. They were basically the same group interview with the same people on different days. I checked in with the recruiter every couple weeks for two months, but then he ghosted me and I never heard back about a decision.
- Can you describe your ideal workday?
- In your opinion, how does one gain the respect of developers?
- What would you consider your biggest weakness?
