First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at The Cason Group.
Sales Associate
It was a really smooth process. I talked to several people who work at the company. They were all really curious about what I do outside of work, which made things way more relaxed.
- Could you tell me about the company's values and how you would incorporate them into your work here?
Floater
I had 2 interviews for this job. The first interview was a general get-to-know-you type of conversation. The second one was a more specific conversation. Generally speaking, it's best to be truthful and be yourself. Make sure you do your research beforehand.
- What company values do you most connect with?
Administrative Assistant
The interview process involved a typical choice of questions, covering my previous experience, what I'm looking for in the position, and my compensation expectations. The interviewer's personality was quite noticeable, despite her attempt to seem impartial. Her responses were off-putting, and she seemed to have a limited understanding of employee culture, even describing the working environment as boring. The email communication was unpleasant, the questions during the interview were phrased unprofessionally, and the building itself was in poor condition. Inside, chairs were haphazardly placed in the corner, the conference room walls had black marks, and the cubicles looked cheap, situated next to a hallway covered in black plastic.
- Could you clarify which position you believe you're interviewing for?
- What position did you think you were applying for?
- What is your previous experience?
Account Manager
The interview process started with a phone call, followed by two in-person interviews. It was professional and fast. They focused a lot on personal and character aspects, not just work skills. Negotiation went smoothly and quickly. They really value personality and cultural alignment over just experience.
- What are your personal and professional goals?
