Behavioral Technical Presentation

I applied on their website with my resume, cover letter, and a photo. About a month later, the HR manager, a very nice and enthusiastic person, called me. We spoke for about 40 minutes. She asked me about my background, why I chose my major, why I'm interested in sales, and if I'm capable of doing the job. When I said yes, I had to do a spontaneous sales pitch about their product. I then moved to the second round, which was scheduled for two days later with the national sales manager. This round involved behavioral and more sales-focused questions. I had to do another sales pitch, which was tougher, but I managed. Before meeting the sales manager, I had to send in a second cover letter explaining why I'm the best candidate from my school, and they encouraged me to 'brag.' They mentioned they'd contact me by the end of the month. They seem to hire quickly if they're impressed. I got a contract offer soon after. It's important to be good at pitching.

Behavioral

Right after applying, a recruiter rang me up the next day. It was a quick 15-minute chat about the internship qualifications. Then, the recruiter set up a phone interview for the next day with the VP of sales, which was way more involved and focused on behavioral questions. Three days later, I got another call with a few more questions and then got offered the internship right away. The whole process was super quick and easy.

I went through two phone interviews. The first was with a recruiting manager and the other was with a sales manager. The first interview was mostly informational with some questions about my resume. The second was more about qualifications (strengths, weaknesses, how you handle pressure). Be prepared because they will call you randomly for the phone interview.
