They were friendly and seemed comfortable and engaged. They answered my questions directly but elaborated when I asked for more details. Their questions showed they were truly interested in our work and how this role contributes. They came across as considerate and easy to talk to during the interview.

I was sent some screening questions and I answered them. I thought I was being interviewed for the job in the email subject, but it turned out to be for something else. The roles were similar enough that I agreed to interview for both. The job posting said working hours were 'days,' but then they changed to afternoon/evening. Then the hours changed again to split hours. I canceled the interview because I decided I didn't want to work for people who are disorganized, unaware of their needs, or shady enough to try to convince me to take a role they needed filled but I didn't want. Luckily, I'm not desperate and saw through the games.

I applied online and then heard from HR to schedule a call with the hiring manager. The HM was late for the call and then sprung a video interview on me without warning. She was rude when she couldn't send the link, and it was obvious I wouldn't be considered. I sent a thank you email but got no reply. About two months later, another HM called and asked the same questions. They had a better attitude but didn't provide any info on next steps or if they chose other candidates. It's a shame because I have relevant sales experience they could have used.

Before the pandemic, the interview process kicked off with a phone chat. About two weeks after that, a second interview was set up with the Branch Manager, who acted like a supervisor. Both of these interviews were pretty in-depth, which was expected.
