It was a good group of folks. Great informal conversation. I felt at home from day 1.

The Borenstein Group was one of the most rewarding job interviews I ever had. They asked non-book-like questions, so I had to be inventive and creative with my answers. They hire by personality and intelligence and the resume is just for talking points.

Behavioral Presentation

I had two interviews before getting an offer. The first was with the senior executive team, where they looked at my resume and asked about my ideal work environment. The second interview was a one-on-one with the CEO. It was a really comfortable chat, and he even mentioned other companies and shared a lot of industry knowledge and resources.

The whole thing went for about 45 minutes. I was in the room with at least 4 employees and the CEO. They asked about my resume, experience, and why I would be a good fit for Borenstein. You'd think interviewing with 5 people would be intimidating, but everyone was nice and talkative which eased the nerves.
