The application process was very straightforward. I applied on the website and got a call back the same day. They hired me on the spot. The interview questions weren't tough at all. The real challenge is learning everyone's name.

The interviewers were really nice but also quite insistent on hiring me. They spent more time telling me about things I shouldn't do and about current and past employee issues.

The interview process was enjoyable and very interactive. I liked the grounds and how peaceful and beautiful everything was. The residents appeared very content and satisfied with the care they were receiving. I was quite interested in the job, but the contract became complicated after the interview.

I applied online and then got an email from an HR person at the community. They set up a Google DUO interview (could've used Facetime if I had an iPhone), which wasn't as good as Zoom. I get that many interviews are virtual now, but holding a phone is harder than using a webcam. The interviewer was the Executive Director and she was obviously not interested in me from the start, like she had to interview me. She immediately said, "So I see that you have ZERO senior living experience?" I was surprised they contacted me if that was a problem. I was only asked two questions, and neither related to my experience, goals, interests, or qualifications. I didn't get to show my personality or skills. The ED seemed to be rushing through the interview.
