First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at The Big Biscuit.
Server
It was a pretty straightforward and easy interview. They asked some basic questions. Be prepared to work mornings and also to take on any role needed. Restaurants can be challenging. You might end up bussing tables, serving, running food, or even helping out in the dish pit.
- Can you tell me about a time you had a difficult customer interaction and how you handled it?
Manager
I interviewed with 2 of the owners. They were really passionate and good at getting you excited about the opportunity, but also good at laying out the challenges. I was hired on the spot and offered a salary position. I left feeling thrilled and ready to start a new career. It felt like I had made a great choice.
- What prompted your departure from your former employer?
Server
The interview process was straightforward and brief. I applied over three years back and ended up working there for a considerable amount of time, genuinely enjoying the work environment. I'd suggest this place for the compensation and working hours, especially as a great option for a high school job, particularly if you're looking for weekend shifts.

Server
I spoke with the multi-unit manager near the counter. It was a relaxed conversation. I've experienced more formal interviews in restaurant booths before; those are usually pretty professional and friendly, though that was some time ago.
