First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at The Beverly Hilton.
IT Intern
I was initially contacted by phone. Then I came in for an interview, which was pretty relaxed and comfortable. We talked about my major and past work experience. It felt like a standard interview. They confirmed their interest, and I went through a drug/background screening. After passing those, I was hired on the spot and started the next week.
- Were there any difficult questions?
Hostess
They started with some nice questions. They asked if I could be punctual and provide great customer service. Also, if I could stand for long shifts and if I had my own transport. They wanted to know if I was interested in advancing within the company. Then they asked me to introduce myself and talk about my aspirations.
- How would you handle a challenging customer?
Food and Beverage
3 rounds of interviews, first with HR, second with manager, third with director. Interview is fairly easy, but some questions kind of caught me off guard and you really have to go into thought.
- Tell me about a time you demonstrated integrity.
- Share an example of when you've shown leadership.
- Describe an instance where you were hospitable.
Valet Parking
During the interview, they'll ask you questions from a sheet of paper, and the interviewer will write down your answers as you give them. There might also be some unexpected questions thrown in.
