First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at The Baddish Group.
Public Relations Account Executive
It started out like a regular interview with usual questions about my public relations experience, but then the owner started bad-mouthing her employees, calling them dumb and saying she needed me to take over because they can't do anything right. It was super awkward because I didn't know her at all, so I just didn't say anything when she said those things to avoid conflict.
- Have you ever managed people before?
Publicist
First, I had a phone interview. Then, I had an in-person interview with Laura and another person. It was pretty informal and casual. I talked about my PR background. They also asked me to send them my writing samples and media clips.
- What are you seeking in this position?
Account Executive
It was good. I met with the owner and we talked about the job tasks, my PR experience, and the benefits I'd get. I talked about past clients and showed my media portfolio.
- What kind of clients do you have PR experience with?
- Tell me about your experience in PR.
- Which clients have you worked with before?
