It was a pretty streamlined process with just two rounds. They actually combined the final two stages into one longer interview with a senior person at the end. They don't drag things out and focus on asking questions that are directly related to your past experience and how it fits the role. You'll also get asked some behavioral questions, like discussing a situation where you had to juggle multiple tasks or explain a complex topic to another department.

Behavioral Presentation

It was a competency-based interview process. The questions asked were often a bit confusing because they’d combine several questions into one. Usually, there are two interview rounds, and you’re expected to give a presentation. The HR team wasn’t the most organized, to be honest. They sent a rejection email first, and then a few hours later, they called to offer me the job. It didn’t create a great first impression and, looking back, it was a bit of a red flag.

So, the interview process was pretty standard. It started with a phone screen by the recruiter, then a video interview with the hiring manager and one other person. After that, there was a quick take-home project, which was all hypothetical. Finally, there was a last video interview with the hiring manager and two more people. The questions felt pretty standard and scripted to ensure consistency across candidates. Unfortunately, I didn't get an offer, and I couldn't get any feedback from HR or the hiring manager. I was completely ghosted after several emails. What was also frustrating was that a few weeks later, a different recruiter contacted me about a more junior role, and they didn't seem to know I had already gone through this process and wasn't selected. Having to explain that again was annoying.

  • Can you describe the process you've used to set and share performance expectations with your team, and what results your team achieved because of it?
