First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at The Adaptavist Group.
Marketing Manager
First there was a screening interview with HR, then I met with the hiring manager, followed by a big take-home task. The final stage was a panel discussion. The hiring manager changed mid-process though. I didn't get to the chat with the new hiring manager because they said I didn't have enough digital experience, which is weird since they could've seen that on my cv, or at least before I spent hours on the task. It's just frustrating to put in so much time and effort and then get a basic reason like that.
- Is content important for product marketing?
Field Marketing Manager
I had a great experience with Brenden during my application for the field marketing manager role. He was professional and efficient, giving me clear info about the hiring process stages. I especially appreciated the constructive feedback from Brenden and the hiring team after I didn't get to the fourth interview. It was really valuable to get detailed feedback from a recruiter for the first time to see where I can improve. Jared, the hiring manager, also gave me some good advice for the future. Overall, Brenden was great - professional, transparent, and made it a positive experience. I'd recommend him if you want a recruiter who really supports candidates.
- What characteristics do you value in a manager or leader?
Field Marketing Manager
I had a first chat with an HR person, who seemed pretty junior. It was supposed to be 30 mins but went a bit longer, about 45. They knew a lot about Adaptavist, like how it's growing, the benefits, and the general vibe. The questions were really basic and directly related to what was in the job description. They gave me good feedback and said they wanted to move forward, but then we realized they were only hiring for a regular Field Marketing Manager, not a Senior one. Because of that, we both figured out I was probably out of their salary range.
- Can you tell me about your experience with events?
