It was tough, wow! The one thing that happened was that I literally popped my pants! But I stayed cool and calm to answer the questions asked at a normal pace. I was like wow, but then I asked them a bunch of questions about the role.

Got contacted right after applying. Came in for an interview and met with HR and the manager. They were both nice and made me feel welcome. It was a comfortable experience, and I enjoyed seeing the resort. Everyone I met was friendly and said hi.

I met with the head of the food and beverage department, actually there was a bit of a miscommunication, I was supposed to meet with the Waterfront manager. The food and bev manager asked some simple questions. He was pretty intimidating and said I didn't answer well but he would try me out anyway. It made me a little uncomfortable.

The digital job search process can be impersonal, but my screening experience was great. I applied through the Job Center of Wisconsin and got a call from The Abbey HR within days. The first interview was scheduled for the next day. I was told to come through the main entrance and ask at the Front Desk for HR. From the moment I walked in, everyone was smiling and seemed happy to be there. This warmth continued throughout my interview and even when I left after getting coffee. You never get a second chance to make a first impression, and I hope mine was as good as the impression The Abbey made on me.
