The interview process was straightforward with good communication. They were very helpful in answering my questions about compensation and work-life balance. I appreciated receiving feedback after each interview. I'd recommend this interview experience because you get to meet people from all parts of the business.

I was contacted by the Head of Marketing at That's It. I felt our conversation went pretty well. It seemed like I might have been a bit overqualified, but the most frustrating part was not being informed of their decision. It's unusual to be ghosted after speaking with the marketing lead.

Group Presentation

I went to their College Day event where five of us applicants were selected to join. It was a really fun process, honestly, didn't feel like a typical interview. We started with some info about the company. Then, we were split into groups for activities that simulated what the job would actually be like. There were three activities in total, and each time I worked with different people to show how I collaborate in a team. The tasks were a good reflection of how this team works. It was one of the best interview experiences I've had because it was more about us getting to know each other, not just the company getting to know me.

It was a super long, drawn-out interview process. First, I had a chat with the marketing manager, then another with the art director. After that, I got a design challenge that included creative direction, making an email design, an Instagram post/reel, and a packaging mockup. I also had to create motion for one of the assets. Once I finished the challenge, they had me come into the office to meet the same marketing manager and art director again, plus the chief sales officer. They asked me the same questions from the earlier interviews and then I gave a short presentation of my design challenge work. The whole thing took about a month.
