Teacher
First, there was a phone chat with HR. Then, a zoom meeting with a teacher who teaches the subject. After that, you came to campus for an in-person meeting with the administrators.
- What is your approach to managing a classroom?
Teacher
The interview was pretty simple. It started with a phone interview with HR, followed by another online interview. This second interview is typically with the administration. About half of the interview involves the administration discussing the role with you, and the other half consists of them asking you questions.
- Can you tell me about your background in education?
- What makes you want to apply for this job?
- What are your career aspirations for the next 5-10 years?
Stage Engineer
It was 1 technical interview followed by an HR interview. It was all done quickly, which helps with administrative tasks and thinking about the stage topic faster.
- What is your experience with the subject?
Teacher
It was a typical interview process with three stages. The first was a virtual meeting with HR, followed by an in-person interview at the school with an administrator, and finally, another virtual meeting with a different administrator.
- I was informed that the school adheres to Judeo-Christian philosophies/values and was asked if this presented any concerns for me.
- I was then told that topics like Critical Race Theory, Climate Change, or Evolution are not discussed, and I was asked if this would be a problem for me.
