I applied for a Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist job that required a CPA. However, during the interview, it became clear the role was actually junior level with a minimum pay range. This was a big disconnect from the job posting. Interviews are a two-way street, and frankly, I regretted the time I spent. After the interview, I checked employee reviews online – many mentioned high turnover and a bad work environment in the AR team. From my experience, those reviews seem spot on. All in all, I'd tell future applicants to be careful.

The interview involved a PowerPoint presentation in the first round. It was a 'why hire me' sales pitch where I had to describe my experience and skills with a brief intro. It was a fun interview idea that made the process more exciting and enjoyable. It took 2 months to get an interview though. I was told after the interview that the process would move quickly for the hiring candidate.

The interview process felt rushed and somewhat disorganized. The interviewer seemed inattentive and preoccupied, and they lacked some of the information I was seeking. They said they'd get back to me, but they never did.
