First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Texthelp.
Finance
There were two interviews. The first was with the hiring manager, and the second was with another team member. It felt pretty laid back. They seem keen on people returning to the office, but overall it seems like a relaxed place to work.
- What makes you want to join our company?
Customer Support Representative
It was a good, straightforward interview process. You gotta be careful not to talk too much and make sure you can answer as many questions as possible. Even though I didn't get the job in the end, they told me why and in a pretty reasonable timeframe.
- What is your process for installing software?
- Can you describe how you would troubleshoot software issues?
Graphic Designer
So, a recruiter got me set up with an initial interview. They looked at my portfolio, and then I talked to them about the work I'd done, what I knew about texthelp, and why I was interested in the job. I also showed them some of my past projects and what skills I thought would be a good fit. They then gave me a take-home design challenge, which is pretty standard for graphic design roles. I had a couple of days to work on redesigning a webpage they provided. After I sent that in, we had the final interview, and they offered me the position.
- What is your understanding of texthelp?
- Could you discuss your past projects?
- Which of your skills do you think are relevant to this role?
Consultant
Started with a chat with the hiring manager, then talked to an upper manager. The first manager was really positive, talking about how good sales are and how a new role opened up. I asked about market share, past revenue targets, the current pricing model, and KPIs for the job, but didn't get much detail. The second interview with the upper manager was intense. He said asking about past revenue was asking for too much and they don't share that.
- What prompted you to pursue an MBA?
- Is it true you worked at x company for four years?
- What led to your departure from those previous employers?
