Once you sign up, they will direct you to submit an original HTML writing sample you created yourself, and you'll also take a grammar test that should be pretty easy for any writer.

I sent in some of my writing and got a rating, like stars, which shows what kind of jobs I can apply for. It was pretty straightforward. You can get your writing checked again later if you want to move up. Getting more than three stars is tough.

I applied and was contacted for an interview really quickly. They gave me an online editorial test to check grammar, concepts, and if I could follow directions. Then, I had a group interview with three department heads. They asked us questions, and we each answered. It wasn't too high-pressure. They don't do group interviews anymore, I think. The whole thing took about an hour because it was a group thing, usually, they're faster. I got the offer the next day.

To apply for this role, you need to send in a sample article along with your application for review. You don't have to send the sample immediately, but you can't begin writing until after you submit it and they assign you a level, which can range from 2 to 5. They also require a copy of your US ID, which I sent via scanned email, though fax is also an option. A W9 form needs to be sent over via fax.
