First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at TextBook Solutions.
Customer Service Representative
The interview process is pretty standard, but you should get ready to answer some questions about your personality and how you interact with people. There will be 3-4 managers in the interview with you, but they're all really nice and make you feel comfortable.
- Can you tell me what great customer service means to you?
Customer Service Representative
I talked to the assistant manager on the phone, and it felt good but still professional. I got to ask my own questions. They said they'd call me back after they talked to everyone else. When they did call back with the offer, they asked for my training start dates. It was a really good experience, everything was super organized.
- What superpower would you choose and what is the reason for your choice?
Customer Service Representative
It was fun! They asked me about a superpower I'd want. There were a lot of questions about self-awareness and confidence, so make sure you know your strengths and weaknesses, especially when working in a group. Expect two interviewers, which is pretty standard at TBS.
- If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
- How would your best friend describe you?
- Imagine a customer asks about prices and you know a competitor has a lower price. What do you say?
Customer Service Representative
I interviewed with the store manager and assistant manager. They asked basic questions about my background in customer service and previous work history. They seemed very friendly and relaxed which made the interview much easier for me.
- What defines excellent customer service?
- If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
- Describe a situation where you exceeded your job responsibilities.
