The interview was with the head of HR and Professional Development. They didn't ask a lot of questions about auditing or accounting specifically, but more about leadership, teamwork, and integrity. There was also a part where I had to do an analysis using Excel.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • Can you share an experience where you took a leadership role?
  • Tell me about a time you were part of a successful team.

It was a 2 part interview. The first part was an audit assessment, which involved a scenario where a sample agency had to meet 3 objectives to get licenses. You're given data and an objective like 'Agency must have applicant be over 18 years old to obtain license'. Then, within the data, you'll find sample applicants with a DOB missing or who are under 18. You need to spot the problem and suggest a fix, e.g., 'Agency should have another employee double check/review application before processing'. It's pretty straightforward if you look at it closely and objectively.

Confirmed questions3 questions
  • Tell me about a time you experienced conflict within a group and how you handled it.
  • Describe a situation where you were under a lot of pressure and how you responded.
  • Given sample data and a licensing objective (e.g., applicants must be over 18), identify any discrepancies where applicants do not meet the criteria and propose a specific recommendation for the agency to improve its process.

Technical Other

I was interviewed during my college's spring break in my senior year. The whole process was a standard, step-by-step thing. The interviewers were pretty unengaging and didn't really budge on anything. It was a typical government-style interview, with a points-based evaluation for candidates.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • Did you have to take a written assessment test?
  • Did you have to take a verbal assessment test?
